This month
The season has produced the familiar urge to begin again. The Department honours this urge and issues one caution: the impulse to begin is frequently hijacked into the impulse to purchase the equipment of beginning.
The new notebook is not the new life. The expensive shoes contain no additional courage. The course may be useful, but readiness was not hidden behind its payment screen.
Recommended surrender
Begin again at one thing without purchasing a symbol of beginning. Use what is already in the room.
